Our Story

It all started when a boy from LA fell in love and married a girl from a small town in Wyoming. After surviving in Southern California for 15 years, we packed up and started a new life in Colorado. Fast forward 10 more years and a global pandemic, and we found ourselves asking each other, “What are we doing with our lives that brings joy and can we do this for the next 20 years before we retire?”

I have always had a dream of owning my own donut shop and dreamt of the hot mini donuts I would enjoy as a child at Wyoming County Fairs. It just made sense to explore that dream further. Having both been in customer service jobs for 30+ years, (Dan as a Service Advisor for Cadillac and myself as a Realtor) we recognized a lack of common courtesy and joy in the retail/food community.

After a lot of research and prayer and help from a fabulous Elizabeth Town administrator, we were able to secure a location in downtown Elizabeth and we put the ball in motion.

Our hope is that every customer who walks through our doors knows they matter and they are appreciated. We will strive to put customers first and provide the “Small Town” hospitality we both love. We are not your typical donut shop. We make your order when you order it, so your donuts are always Hot & Fresh! We offer boutique style donuts in a small (half dozen) or large (dozen) size with Classic & Signature flavors to choose from. Customers can choose from a variety of drinks to compliment their donuts including locally roasted coffee from Crow Foot Valley Coffee in Castle Rock, Co.

We are conveniently located on the historical Main Street in Elizabeth, Colorado, in the front lobby of the original Elizabeth Hotel! We have a quaint courtyard featuring a water fall and a cozy fire pit for those chilly Colorado days that our customers are encouraged to enjoy, or we have intimate indoor seating as well.
